The Cornerstone Club · For Wholesale Investors

Invest alongside us, on the same terms as our own capital.

What the club is

How it works.

We only bring the Club deals we are investing in ourselves. You invest on the same price, terms and timing as our own capital. Our high-conviction model means we have a limited number of opportunities each year.

The cornerstone club

✓ We only send what we’re investing in ourselves

✓ You invest beside us, same price and terms

✓ Every member is treated as a partner

✓ Kept small on purpose

Our approach

Three principles guide every decision we make.

01

Selective Co-Investment

We only invite the Club into opportunities we are backing ourselves. Fewer high conviction positions. If we are not investing on the same price and terms, we do not send it.

02

Alignment

Our capital sits beside yours, at the same price and on the same terms, via our balance sheet or through Aliwa Alpha Fund, our micro-cap fund that has returned >20% p.a.net since inception nine years ago.

03

Process

Every opportunity is originated, researched and before we distribute it. We pride ourselves on register construction, and it shows in how the companies we back tend to trade after the raise.

Our filter

What we look for.

Four criteria have to line up before we take on a mandate and invest our own capital. We review hundreds of opportunities a year. A handful make it through.

01

Tailwinds

A strong macro thematic behind the company. We identify structural growth opportunities, often before the market does.

02

Asymmetry

Risk skewed to the upside, with the downside understood and sized before we commit.

03

Catalysts

Clearly defined re-rating milestones. Specific, near and medium-term events that represent key inflection points in the business.

04

Management

Aligned, experienced management. A backable team with the incentives to deliver against the identified milestones.
